Ha! Two posts in ONE DAY! I almost never do that, but why not! I have time to kill on my lunch break, so here goes my answers to Mama M's Five Question Friday:
1. Would you ever vacation alone? I tell ya, I'm tempted some days, but no, I would not. I'd miss my kiddos and DH too much. Plus, I would want them to have fun too!
2. Do you go the speed limit? I plead the fifth!
3. Why did you start blogging/following blogs? I started out by reading other blogs first and thought it looked like fun. I was right! I really enjoy blogging and meeting other bloggers.
4. Where do you shop for yourself? I buy my Jeans at Express because they come in Petite sizes so I don't have to hem them up. Otherwise, tops at Target or Kohls.
5. What was the song that you danced your first dance with your spouse to at your wedding...or...what song would you like your first dance to be to?
Glory of Love by Peter Cetera. It's the song from Karate Kid II. I love it!

I would miss my kids to vacationing alone and hubby! Hubs and I went on a cruise without my daughter and I was miserable. So not again, for awhile anyway!!
I'm with you-- I'd miss my hubs too much to go by myself!
I used to call them my alone weekends - but now my alone weekends are with Honey and no kids! But then again, my kids are teenagers and not quite as cute as yours anymore!!!
I always speed... and I tend to treat my little "blue line" window sticker as a free pass. Bad, bad me.

Since I've become a momma I've been told I drive the snail mobile - Super slow.
Started blogging for the same reason. It's good "me time" and fun to connect with others.
I shop sales and mostly online b/c I don't have to bring everyone with me. Than if something needs to be returned, in the mail it goes. This way I get a few days with it to make sure it's what I wanted. I honestly don't like shopping for clothing. It's mentally exhausting. Online I can look at several stores at once, price match and look forward to what seems like a gift in the mail :-)
Oh sure, now I feel like a heel about my vacation answer! ;) Okay, not really.

On a separate note, I hope you do the "Mama Guilt" Monday next week because I have a major one! LOL.
i think i could totally vacation alone! lol would i miss them? yes. but i'd enjoy missing them for a little while. :)
I had a couple of pairs of express jeans that fit awesome but I wore them out completely!
I would get bored if I went on vacation alone.
Reading your post not only made me go straight to my iTunes to listen to Glory of Love, but also to Netflix to request Karate Kid II. Oh the memories. :-)

I think I got the words right. Man, I love that song. My friend and I snuck out of her house, got a taxi, and went to the theater to see that movie. We were 9 or 10! I would lose it completely if my kids if they did that!
I would definitely miss my kids and hubs, but I think I can get away without them for a day, maybe two.
I am suppose to be going on a girls only cruise in April, it is three nights and I am not sure if I will be able to handle that.
I would definitely miss my husband, but I did go away with my mom for a week. So, I was with my mom and we went to see family. The trip was too expensive to bring everyone.

I'd totally vacation by myself. I've done it a few days before. I did miss my husband and kids but it was so nice to be able to relax for a bit.

I like to be alone for a bit at home, but I'd get lonely on vacation.
