Mom Bloggers Rock!

Who would have imagined I'd have so much fun blogging and meeting so many wonderful mom (and a couple dad) bloggers!

For my final post of 2009, I wanted to thank three mom bloggers who helped me get my blog started this year. All three of these women have been so patient and kind. I truly consider them friends. In no particular order:

Kim at Mom Tried It. She is one crafty mama! She comes up with a variety of fun things to do with the kiddos. Every day there's something new to try. She also has Mommy Moments where she features other mom bloggers. Kim helped me with my template and gave other advice on the whole social networking thing. Thanks Kim!

Jenney at TheDraysToday. We initially connected through emails as she gave me advice on blogging. Little did I know her DH is a police officer too. She has two little boys and is pregnant with her first girl! Thanks Jenney for putting up with me!

Esther at The Mommy Diaries. She too initially met me through my emails for advice. She has a feature called Menu Plan Mondays. I love it! She's a pastor's wife and mama to three young kiddos. Esther, thanks for all your wonderful advice (even if you are a Packers fan :-)

Please visit their blogs and show some bloggy/comment love!

Happy New Year Everyone!

PLEASE...BUCKLE UP AND DRIVE SAFELY! (Ok, I'm done being a cop now :-)

We, however, are staying home! What are your New Years Plans?

We're going to a New Year's fellowship at church. Our youth pastor's four elementary-aged kids are coming home with us because the youth group is doing an all-night lock in activity. So it's going to be really FUN for me! I wonder who will poop out first?

I will be staying home. My sister and her husband (both cops) have to work tonight. I have told them repeatedly "Be safe!".

I told the kids they could stay up late and that we would have a mini party.

Happy New Year to you!

Thank you SO MUCH! I am learning as I go, just like you are. We are learning together. :-) I am so happy we "met" and I consider you a great friend. I hope you guys have a fun night in. We, too, will be staying home. I rented a movie that has been out for a while, that we haven't seen yet. We are way behind on things like that. We did redeem ourselves a little by seeing Avatar last week. I can't wait to see what great things this next year hold in store for you! I will be praying for your continued safety and blessings!

It's okay to be a Cop and a Mama. I always buckle up...did it before it was the law.

I am doing zero tonight except stay at home.

You are doing such a great job on your blog. If only I had a blog or access to blogs when I was a stay at home mom. I felt isolated then. Keep up the good work.

I am ready to throw 2009 out the door!!! What a dumb year. I have the door open, I just have to trick 2009 into heading out. And if he doesn't go willingly, I am dialing the cops, Cop Mama.

Happy New Year.

Thanks, sweet friend! I've been so blessed to get to know you, even though you're a VIKINGS fan. (Bleh. Hurts to even say that.) ;-)

We're staying home tonight, having some friends over for appetizers. I'll eat a meatball (or two) for you!

You are so right... blogger moms do rock! I was pleasantly surprised to find how awesome everyone is here in bloggy-land.

We just went down the street to hang out with friends of ours and play some X-Box. They also have a few kiddos (like 5! including a newborn) so we had our own little "party"!

Happy New Year!!!
